A child who understands the law can shape the culture they will live in.
Hopeful Child Foundation was founded and designed by Carisa Carlton, who serves as CEO. She is an anthropologist and a sociologist. She believes education about the law should begin in the formative years, because understanding a law, and shaping the next one, is how we shape a culture we love.
She hopes to inspire children to make their voices heard, understand they have real power to compel change that suits their own generational needs, and empower them to live happier more fulfilling lives starting with understanding laws that concern them right now. It all begins with understanding new laws on lunch at school. A backpack. A phone. A house. A parent.
The chamber teaches the law as something a child can hold. Design Your Future is where they practice writing the next one. The country is already theirs. We are only handing them more tools.
This desk is young. The offerings are at the beginning. We invite, with open arms, your suggestions and your contributions. Tell us what a child needed that we missed. Tell us which law should be a story next. Grown-ups may write. We still do not collect information about children.
